Caterpillar vines are a psuedoinsecta species of plant. The plant form is a climbing plant which grows on structures such as trees, lamp posts or the sides of buildings. The seeds are green and like caterpillars. The caterpillar seeds emerge from yellow flowers which grow on the vines. The caterpillar seeds will munch on leaves to gain nutrients before they find a place to sprout. When they are ready, they will find a tall structure and form a brown chrysalis near its base. Eventually vines will emerge from the cocoon and weave their way up the structure.
