Putoos are like living, growing, claymation. They have three states, a red hardened one with four orbs each with a wiry limb. It turns into a yellow flying manta-like creature. This turns into a blue tentacled creature. But there's a twist: While it goes in Red->Yellow->Blue->Red etc. it can start at any point. However, they are born in the same part of the cycle as their mother's were in at the time of their birth, and the only go through each stage once.
