Lor Lankov is a Katayan artist who was born in 34,650. He is known for his pacifism which is reflected in his dramatic paintings which depict the aftermath or costs war can bring. Notable examples would be A Mother's Loss, The Cost of War, and A Crying Soldier. Lor Lankov lost his father to a war that went on between some countries bordering Kataya. Kataya was unlucky enough to be caught in the crossfire during this time. His experiences with war have made him very bitter about it.
He currently still lives in Kataya in a small home with his wife and two sons. Besides being a painter, he also teaches a painting class at Greystone University.
