Morduroy is a gas at room temperature. It becomes a metal in very cold temperatures, such as in Norre, where it is mined. Norreians are not economically dependent on exporting it, but since Norre is the only place it can be mined in its solid form, they are often employed at a young age to make a living mining the substance in the freezing mines of the North. Its elemental number is 12. The main use for Morduroy is by lamp makers, since when it is put in a lamp with a flame, the flame will last much longer than with normal air.
