War Gulls are birds who migrate yearly, using their ability to sense Oceanic Fields to guide their way. They are so called, as they are scavengers, and often flock to battlefields post-battle, feasting on the corpses. Of course, this is actually rare behaviour, and mostly they eat small arthropods, fish, and molluscs. But historically, wars were where the birds were most often seen by people, so that's what people called them. In appearance, they have dark grey beaks with a red triangle on each side, grey caps on their heads, which males can erect into crests during mating season, grey wings and yellow eyes with small black pupils. Inside their skull is a diamond shaped blue object which allows them to sense Oceanic Fields. Some island tribes collect these diamonds and use them in necklaces and other jewelery.
