The Yani and Mini are two different creatures that are rarely seen apart. The Yani is a tall yellow and skinny bipedal creature while the Mini is much shorter and purple. The Mini has small wings but it is a bit too heavy for normal flight so it just uses its wings to glide and gain a little bit of height mainly. The Yani has an unusual diet. The Yani feeds by draining the color out of objects. Different Yani have different preferences of colors, some like warm colors more than cool colors or some may just like certain colors like red, blue, or purple. The object it drains color out of will turn grey, black or white and will look quite out of place in the colorful world.
The Mini's job is to restore the color that the Yani feeds on by breathing a strange blue mist on the object. The mist settles on the object and determines its properties. Once these properties are determined, it will fuse with the object and restore it to the color it was before. Sometimes strange things happen and it might become a completely different color. This happens when the Mini catches an illness that affects the mist in some way. The Mini eats special blue glowing flowers called Glowing Blooms which are part of what gives it its magical breath. These generally grow in forests on Acrex where Mini and Yani can be found as well.
